Our Products
At Sunshine Acres, we strive to provide very high-quality hay for horses and more!
- 800-1000 lbs 4×5 net wrapped round bales and 50 lbs two string square bales.
- We bale and cut at the proper times for sugar and protein content as well as leaf retention in alfalfa.
- Hay can be purchased out of the field during the season or out of the barn in the winter
We recommend our pure grass, alfalfa orchard grass mix as a great high protein horse feed or our clover grass mix – all offer in square and round bales!
We also offer high quality, non gmo, freezer meats including beef, pork, and chicken!
All cows are given full access to as much non gmo corn and hay as they would like. All pigs are provided with non GMO corn and soy ration and all chicekns are offered a non GMO feed mix from Kent feeds. This keeps the animals happy and ensures your family receives only the best tasting meat!
- Beef and pork are sold in half’s and whole’s, processed at a local USDA inspected facility.
- All meat are packaged in high quality, vacuum sealed containers and processed at a clean, trusted facility.
- Chicken is sold as a whole bird – great for grilling and smoking to feed the whole family!
About Us
Sunshine Acres Family Farm started in 2017 with the goal to succeed as a first generation farm. From a young age, I wanted to farm. There was just something about it that peaked my interest. From starting with two steers and a baler from 1954 and 10 acres of hay ground, we now raise over 20 head of beef and many other animals each year along with a complete line up of equipment to properly put up and make 200+ acres of quality dry hay. It’s truly a dream come true to be a part of American agriculture. Nothing better than being able to do what I love each day taking care of the animals and the land!

We are always looking to expand our operation and take advantage of new opportunities! We look for land lords wanting to partner with us and we offer high, competitive cash rent for fields. Taking care of the land is a top priority for us at Sunshine Acres. As such, we ensure proper fertilization occurs each season in order to keep up on ground fertility. Mowing ditches, clearing fences, and maintaining tile and water ways are how we help protect the land and farms we work with. Contact us today!
